This is the final piece for my street graphics project. By using a QR scanner app on your phone, you can scan this barcode I created and it will direct you to my street graphics magazine online.
The magazine is called a University Guide and is to help students get to know the area of Huddersfield when they move here. It consists of the best places to have something to eat, the best places to go for a drink, things to do around Huddersfield and some information about Storthes Hall.
To get an idea of what places to mention in the magazine, I asked current students on their thoughts and favourite places that they like to go.
Things that I would change about this project would be adding a map, so the readers can find the places themselves. I would also like to add more sections, for example about the university.
If I had more time for this project I would of liked to create some more magazines, for different universities, so there would be a collection.
If I could redo this project, I would like to experiment with creating my own typeface using different road signs and symbols.
